Set along Waiheke’s rugged western coastline, the vineyard is bathed in warm westerly winds and framed by panoramic views of Rakino and Rangitoto. This maritime influence brings a natural freshness to the fruit, while the site's low-yielding vines lend depth and intensity. On the nose, the wine opens with delicate honeysuckle, white peach, and citrus blossom, supported by notes of crushed almond, and baking spice. The palate is richly layered yet balanced, with youthful tones of ripe pear, melon, and apricot interwoven with a subtle creaminess from barrel fermentation and lees aging. A whisper of toasty oak adds complexity without overshadowing the fruit.
