Our K3 Syrah 2022 doesn’t just sport the new Postage Stamp look — under the bonnet, everything’s been tuned. The vineyard and style have shifted gears, taking the Obsidian vineyards story for a spirited drive and letting the 2022 vintage really open it up on the open road.

Classic Waiheke florals rev things up, cruising alongside Doris plum and blackcurrant. On the palate, the higher alcohol provides the horsepower, flooring it into black pepper, bay leaf and savoury spice — all fine-tuned during time in oak.

The ride is smooth yet powerful, the finish long and warming, lingering like a golden-hour Sunday drive around the island, windows down, engine humming, nowhere in a hurry — except back for another glass.
